OME Master's students explore Novaled
Yesterday we had guests from the TU Dresden visiting us at Novaled: the OME Master's students and our Germany scholarship holder took a trip to us.
The OME master's program focuses on organic molecular electronics (OME). This interdisciplinary course combines aspects of organic chemistry, physics and materials science to develop innovative electronic components at the molecular level.
In an interview, François and Janine shared some insights from everyday life at Novaled:
- What makes an OLED light up?
- What does the path from PhD to scientist look like in everyday working life?
- What challenges do chemists face in the lab?
- How many patents does Novaled hold worldwide?
- What interdisciplinary skills are combined at Novaled?
These and many other questions were answered during the presentation about Novaled and the subsequent tour of our technical center and the old mill. Our colleagues Lars and Michael gave us a great insight into the work in the measurement and kilogram laboratory. Many thanks to you!
We are delighted with the visit and say thank you for a step towards the "Novaled next generation"!
